Day Two at the Metro Comic Con 2011

Day Two: Got to SM Megamall at about 6pm, just in time for the individual cosplay competition. Tried taking photos of the participants, but I couldn't get close enough to the stage.

Braiiiiiinnssss...
BUMBLEBEEEEE!!!

Although the crowd turnout seemed better on the 2nd day,  the convention didn't look as "busy" as it did compared to the day before. Besides the competition, there really wasn't anything else going on. No DJ Angel interviewing the participants, just a handful of attendees in cosplay roaming the convention floor, and it felt like things got "old" really fast. I blame the bad weather and me getting there late for the lack of action.

Anyway, here are my photos from the Metro Comic Con 2011 Day 2. In case you missed my MCC 2011 Day 1 photos, you can click here to check 'em out.

A beautifully done crossplay of Kratos from the God of War video game.

The MC for the competition in a Thor costume.

Lara Croft à la Angelina Jolie from the Tomb Raider movie.

Suitcase armor Iron Man, War Machine and Iron Man.

Photo ops with The Punisher (guy with AK-47) and Deadpool.

Mahou Tsukai Kurohime and gender bender Kratos cosplay.

Queen Amidala and Darth Vader, reunited.

All in all, it was a pretty fun experience. Good vibes all around, and just being around people with the same geeky interests kinda made me feel at home. I am definitely looking forward to attending more of these conventions. ToyCon 2011 is happening next month, now that should be something to look forward to!
